i've never understood why folk spend so much time and money and stress building great custom scoots and then once they've appeared in scootering put them up for sale, he says he's spent over 20 grand on this and surely must know he'll never get anywhere near that back for it, if a) the scoot is that special you've decided to customise it and b) you've spent that much cash, surely you'd want to keep it and appreciate what you've got! maybe it's just me but i'd never sell mine.

IMO........... why spend all that money customising something that was worth a fair bit to start with........... The basis for the Marc Bolan scoot is a TV175, quite a rare scoot........... the basis IMO he should have started with should have been an Indian Vijai
However............. each to their own and after all said and done it's his money............. but your right Jase......... he's never gunna get back anything near what he's spent.

Can't understand paying a shed load of cash for a scooter that has already been heavily customised, surely it's a personal thing where put your own identity on your scooter, but each to their own

I'm not a big mural lover, or eye popping paint job man, but I like that Bolan scooter a lot, helps that I'm a fan of his music......but that seat..it needs to be taken off, stamped on, set fire to, then thrown in the river....Just my opinion, but it spoils the bike. Would I spend that much to do one, or buy one done.....never, and I mean that, I could not part with that much for a shopping trolley even if I was a lotto winner......but I do like the scooter.... I could get a better van, a few bits for my lammy and vespa, and have a holiday for that much..... ;D
